Mercy Hospital South seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for Med Surg 5E in St. Louis, MO. The position is full-time, 36 hours/week, night shift 7:00 PM–7:30 AM. This unit handles a variety of adult medical cases and emphasizes teamwork and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with ADN, diploma, or BSN.
• Must hold Missouri RN license or compact licensure.
• Previous hospital experience preferred.
• BLS certification through AHA, or willing to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and uphold patient rights and confidentiality.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments to ensure quality outcomes.
• Maintains professional accountability for the care of assigned patients and evaluates care effectiveness.
