Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to residents. Collaborates with resident and family, other inter-disciplinary colleagues, including providers, to plan, implement and evaluate care.

Cares for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Minnesota or multistate license (NLC).
• Required department competencies and certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with residents, families and the care team to plan and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care, resident assessment, education and nursing interventions.
