Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL seeks an experienced RN with strong leadership to join our night-shift leadership team. This full-time role, 36 hours per week, focuses on mentoring staff, ensuring clinical standards, and driving quality improvements across the unit.

Eligible clinicians may advance through our Clinical Ladder Program, with salary increases up to 20% based on experience, development, and advancement criteria. Night schedule with weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• RN license required
• ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications required
• 1+ charge nurse or leadership experience preferred
• Acute care nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitor nursing staff performance, provide feedback and conduct appraisals.
• Mentor staff, organize trainings and oversee professional development.
• Resolve conflicts to maintain a positive work environment.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and monitor patient care outcomes.
• Communicate clearly with patients and healthcare teams to coordinate care.
• Precept new staff and provide hands-on training.
