Qualifications

• Associates or Diploma in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's in nursing required within 5 years for GN or RN with less than 1 year of experience.
• Graduates from a non-accredited nursing school must have at least one year of acute care experience or two years in a licensed health care role and must have passed NCLEX.
• MI Registered Nurse needed within 60 days of hire.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patients.
• Partner with patient/family input and goals in planning care.
• Develop teaching strategies for patient/family and document education in health record.

Education

Associates or Diploma in Nursing
