Job summary

AdventHealth Altamonte Springs, located north of Orlando, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts (7:00 pm–7:00 am, 36 hours/week). You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans, administer medications, and educate patients within a 393-bed hospital that serves the community with high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in applicable state
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• English fluency mandatory (reading, speaking, writing)
• CPR/BLS certification may be required by unit

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication
• Document patient information, care activities, and outcomes accurately in medical records
• Respond to code situations and provide necessary interventions
• Maintain infection control, safety standards, and regulatory compliance
