Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center in North Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Float Pool on the Nights shift. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is available with a 2-year commitment, and the schedule consists of 3 twelve-hour shifts.

Prior hospital experience is required to join this critical care–oriented float team. Applicants should hold an active RN license, with 1–2 years of bedside experience and 2–4 years in critical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments
