Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Float Pool on a PRN night schedule with 12-hour shifts. You will provide direct day-to-day care across multiple units and participate in planning and documentation under the Nurse Director.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina RN license (single-state) or compact.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS, PALS, and NIH certifications within three months of hire.
• Two to Four years of Critical Care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct day-to-day care of patients and families.
• Performs nursing assessments and initiates appropriate interventions.
• Documents care and updates the Interdisciplinary Care Plan.
• Collaborates with the Float Team to implement patient plans.
