Wexford Health Sources, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Nueces County Jail in Corpus Christi, TX. You will lead, teach, and advocate while assessing needs, administering medications, and guiding treatment plans within a correctional setting.

You’ll educate patients, make referrals, and respond to crises, contributing to safety and quality across the unit as part of a dedicated healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted RN license in state of practice.
• 1–2 years of nursing experience; correctional experience preferred.
• Active CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical and mental health needs of inmates and staff.
• Administer medications and guide treatment plans from start to finish.
• Provide patient education and facilitate timely referrals.
• Support safety and standards across the unit and respond to crises.
• Mentor staff and collaborate with healthcare and correctional teams.
