Wexford Health Sources, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Nueces County Jail in Corpus Christi, TX. You will lead, teach, and advocate while assessing needs, administering medications, and guiding treatment plans within a correctional setting.

You’ll educate patients, make referrals, and respond to crises, contributing to safety and quality across the unit as part of a dedicated healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted RN license in state of practice.
• 1–2 years of nursing experience; correctional experience preferred.
• Active CPR certification.

Position Summary

As a Registered Nurse in our facility, you’ll do more than care for patients—you’ll lead, teach, and advocate. Working closely with healthcare and correctional staff, you’ll assess physical/mental health needs, administer medications, and guide treatment plans from start to finish. You’ll play a key role in supporting patient education, making timely referrals, and helping maintain safety and standards across the unit. What You’ll Need

• Active unrestricted RN license in state of practice and 1-2 years of nursing experience (correctional experience preferred).
• Active CPR certification.
