Job summary

Wexford Health Sources, Inc. in Memphis, TN seeks a Registered Nurse to lead, teach, and advocate for justice-involved patients. You’ll assess health needs, administer medications, and guide treatment plans while collaborating with correctional staff to maintain safety and standards across the unit.

You’ll mentor teammates, respond to crises, and champion patient education, with opportunities for continuing education and comprehensive benefits through a national correctional health leader.

Qualifications

Active unrestricted RN license in state of practice and 1–2 years of nursing experience (correctional experience preferred).
Active CPR certification.
Strong clinical and communication skills; adaptability in high‑pressure settings.
A compassionate, nonjudgmental approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

Assess physical/mental health needs and administer medications.
Guide treatment plans from start to finish and support patient education.
Lead, mentor, and advocate for patient care within the unit and with staff.
Respond to crises and help maintain safety and standards across the facility.
