Job summary

Mount Joseph at Waterville is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team for the night shift, delivering direct care to residents and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.

You will assess residents, identify problems, and develop individualized care plans while coordinating with physicians, families, and staff. Excellent communication, leadership, and the ability to float when needed are essential.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Maine.
• Ability to work night shift and float if needed.
• Strong communication and leadership in a care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering treatments, medications, and therapies as ordered by physicians.
• Assess resident needs, identify potential problems, and develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure that resident care is coordinated and effective.
• Report significant changes in resident condition to primary care physicians, families, and/or designated POA's and guardians.
• Document nursing notes accurately and in a timely manner.
• Identify areas of concern and communicate with nursing supervisors and Director of Nursing as needed.
• Provide education and support to residents, families, and staff on care and treatment plans.
