Job summary

Person Memorial Hospital in Roxboro, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Skilled Nursing unit on a full-time night shift. You will provide direct and indirect patient care, administer medications, and collaborate with multiple teams to meet patient needs.

The role requires NC RN licensure (compact acceptable), ASN, and BLS. Prior acute care experience is preferred; new grads encouraged to apply. Join a team dedicated to compassionate, quality care in a 60-bed unit.

Qualifications

• RN license in North Carolina (or compact license)
• BLS certification required
• One year of experience preferred (new grads encouraged)
• ASN or higher required from accredited program

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Educate patients and families using teach-back and document learning.
• Plan 24-hour care by assessing health status, medical history, and treatment needs.
• Administer medications and treatments and monitor responses.
• Communicate changes with the health care team and escalate as needed.
