Job summary

Intersect Healthcare of Big Rapids is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide quality nursing care, coordinate total nursing care for residents, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. The RN will work with the Director of Nursing and Unit Managers to establish goals and maintain high standards.

Responsibilities include assessing residents, administering medications, coordinating with physicians, supervising CNAs, and documenting care in PCC.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Michigan license as a Registered Nurse.
• CPR certification required.
• Two years of professional nursing experience in the long-term care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident conditions to implement intervention and develop Care Plans.
• Administer medications to residents according to policies and physician orders.
• Coordinate with physicians, DON and Unit Managers on care plans and goals.
• Document in medical records and appointment books; monitor and report changes.
• Support CNAs and supervise resident care activities; ensure safety and compliance.
