Job summary

Mission Point Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse for full‑time day and night shifts in Michigan. The RN will coordinate total nursing care, supervise CNAs, perform assessments, administer medications, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

A $10,000 sign‑on for night shift/full‑time is offered, with PRN possibilities. Responsibilities include rounds, care planning, medication administration, documentation, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Michigan registered nurse license.
• CPR certification required.
• Two years of professional nursing experience in long-term care preferred.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing nursing practice.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident conditions and develop care plans; document observations.
• Round with physicians; monitor symptoms and adjust interventions as needed.
• Provide preventive, supportive, and rehabilitative nursing care.
• Administer medications per policies and physician orders.
• Coordinate supplies, equipment, and scheduling for care and treatments.
• Supervise CNAs and assist with resident comfort and safety.
• Maintain accurate records and reports; participate in audits and surveys.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain residents' rights and report abuse or safety concerns promptly.
• Participate in staff meetings and continuing education activities.
