Job summary

Orlando Health Lake Mary Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for Acute Care in the LMH Mother Baby Unit. The role is a variable full-time night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, with three 12-hour shifts each week.

You will provide direct patient care, assess needs, develop and revise care plans, document care, and collaborate with the healthcare team. The department supports Labor and Delivery and ongoing NICU expansion, with TeleHealth hospital-at-home capabilities.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved nursing program and eligible for Florida RN licensure.
• 1 year of acute care nursing experience preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop/revise an individualized plan of care.
• Document care and update care plans in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with medical staff and interdisciplinary team.
• Support patient and family advocacy.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
• Participate in unit and organizational quality improvement.
