Orlando Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Acute Care unit at Lake Mary Hospital in Lake Mary, FL. This variable full-time role covers 3 twelve-hour shifts weekly, with daytime hours 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

The position emphasizes direct patient care, collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, and adherence to care standards. The successful candidate will hold a Florida RN license (or eNLC multistate), BLS, and ACLS/NRP/PALS as required for unit areas.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Meets all mandatory development and performance competency requirements for the unit/department.
• Must have acute-care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient’s needs and develops or revises an individualized plan of care based on patient needs and responses.
• Function as a patient and family advocate.
• Communicates and collaborates with medical staff and the interdisciplinary team to effectively plan and manage the unit/department.
• Coordinates care and delegates responsibilities as appropriate to other team members on a defined group of patients.
• Documents patient care in a knowledgeable, skillful, and consistent manner meeting all mandatory and regulatory standards.

Education
