Job summary

Orlando Health Lake Mary Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for acute care on the night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) in the LMH Med Surg Unit. The role requires graduation from an approved nursing program and an active Florida RN license or valid eNLC license, with BLS certification.

ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC may be required for certain areas. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, planning and coordinating care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring accurate

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license.
• BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas.
• 1 year experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs and develops/revises an individualized plan of care.
• Respects diversity by building respectful relationships with all team members.
• Functions as a patient and family advocate.
• Communicates and collaborates with medical staff and interdisciplinary team.
• Coordinates care and delegates tasks to other team members as appropriate.
• Documents patient care in charting and maintains patient safety.
• Maintains competency in nursing skills and unit equipment.
