Job summary
HonorHealth's Four Peaks Medical Center in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Labor & Delivery unit on the night shift.
The RN will assess patients, administer medications, monitor status, and develop care plans in collaboration with physicians and a multidisciplinary team. The role emphasizes patient education, safety, and high-quality nursing care for diverse obstetric patients.
Qualifications
- 2 years experience in L&D (as required)
- RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BSN preferred; ADN/ Diploma nurses must complete BSN within 60 months
Responsibilities
- Record patient medical history and symptoms; perform diagnostic tests and analyze results
- Administer medications and IV therapy; monitor blood work and vital signs
- Develop and revise patient care plans; coordinate with physicians and multidisciplinary team
- Educate patients and families on post-treatment care and home management
- Supervise licensed practical nurses and nursing aides; mentor new staff
