Job summary

CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center is seeking a full-time RN to join their Emergency Room team. This position requires planning, directing, and providing high-quality patient care. Candidates must possess a current California RN License and relevant certifications including BLS and ACLS.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of recent ER experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a union environment. A sign-on bonus may be available, subject to eligibility.

Qualifications

• Current California RN License is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA.

Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Director, this position is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and providing high-quality, individualized patient care using the components of the nursing process.

Benefits and Schedules

• Full-Time positions may qualify for a $10,000 Sign-On Bonus, subject to eligibility requirements and final review and approval.
• Status: Full Time / Part Time / Per Diem
• Shift: Days / Evenings / Nights
• Shift Hours: 12 hours
• Bi-Weekly Hours: 24 to 72 hours

• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certificate
• Basic EKG
• Los Angeles County Fire Card (required within 30 days of hire)
• Assault Response Competency (ARC) (required within 30 days of hire)
