Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Omaha, NE. You will provide specialized care for premature and critically ill newborns, monitor infants, manage respiratory and nutritional support, and administer weight-based medications.

Family education and involvement are integral to the care plan. The role requires NICU nursing experience, an RN license in the state, and current BLS/NRP certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Neonatal intensive care nursing experience required.
• RN licensure in state of practice required.
• BLS and NRP certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and continuously monitor premature and critically ill neonates.
• Manage respiratory support, including ventilated infants and advanced airway devices.
• Administer weight-based medications, IV fluids and parenteral or enteral nutrition.
• Recognize and respond to neonatal emergencies and participate in delivery room resuscitation.
• Maintain a developmentally appropriate and thermoregulated environment for each infant.
• Educate and support families and involve them in the infant's plan of care.

Education & Experience
