Job summary

Baptist Health in Montgomery, AL seeks a Registered Nurse for the NICU on a full-time third shift. The RN will supervise nursing staff on the unit, coordinate care and ensure quality patient outcomes, working closely with physicians and other clinicians to implement the care plan.

Requirements include a nursing degree (BSN preferred), active RN licensure, BLS, and area-specific certifications (ACLS/PALS/NRP).

Qualifications

• Must have nursing degree; BSN preferred.
• Active RN licensure required; BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP etc may be required depending on area.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff on shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Apply the nursing process for patient assessments, planning of care and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in care planning and implementation.
