Job summary

Community Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a New Graduate RN for Labor & Delivery in Missoula, MT. This full-time night position supports a 12-16 week orientation with mentors in a high-acuity L&D setting.

Qualifications

• Current Montana RN license or Compact RN License with Montana endorsement.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school.
• BSN preferred.
• Certifications: BLS; NRP and Fetal Monitoring required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to mothers and newborns through labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being and communicate changes in condition.
• Assist with deliveries, cesarean sections, and obstetric procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families on childbirth, recovery, newborn care, and breastfeeding.
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety and quality standards.
• Participate in orientation, residency programs, and ongoing professional development to build Labor & Delivery nursing skills.

Education

Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school
