St James Hospital in Butte, Montana seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to join labor and delivery, nursery, and NICU coverage. The role emphasizes nursing process, coordination with the care team, and accurate documentation.

Night shifts dominate with occasional day coverage to meet unit staffing needs. Minimum qualification is a BSN within 4 years or 15 years acute care service; MT RN license, BLS, PALS, NRP and fetal monitoring training within stated timeframes are required.

Formación

• BSN from an accredited program required within 4 years or 15 years acute care allowed.
• MT RN license must be active at hire and maintained.
• BLS; PALS within 9 months; NRP neonatal; AHWONN fetal monitoring within 12 months.
• Preferred: National certification in area of practice.

Responsabilidades

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using nursing process.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs/CNAs and coordinate with health team.
• Communicate effectively with patients; document per guidelines.
• Participate in clinical team conferences and follow hospital policies.
• Read and interpret safety rules and procedures; maintain accuracy in charting.
