Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate nursing care, educate patients and families, and support transitions of care. The RN will practice within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model, showing leadership in precepting and quality initiatives.

Flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends, may be required. Applicants must hold an active RN license, and BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Current RN license required.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to work in a team and show leadership.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care including direct patient care and education.
• Support transitions of care and communicate across the continuum of care.
• Lead through preceptor and informal leadership roles; participate in quality improvement.
• Possibly drive a personal vehicle as part of responsibilities.
