Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Temple, TX is seeking full-time experienced Registered Nurses to join our Neuro PCU telemetry unit. This 38-bed unit provides a rhythm of varied patient care including epilepsy monitoring and stroke patients.

The ideal candidate will have ADN or BSN, Texas RN license, BLS, 12–18 months acute care experience, and will thrive in a team-based model focused on safety and quality. We offer relocation assistance, tuition reimbursement, and day-one PTO.

Qualifications

• Graduate of RN School of Nursing.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Must be licensed to practice professional nursing by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners.
• Preferred 12-18 Months of RN experience, Acute Care or Hospital setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required.
• Functions competently and effectively under pressure and emergency situations.

What We Need

We’re currently seeking full-time experienced Registered Nurses to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas; The #1 one city in the nation for Nursing opportunities and advancement! Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital is a 636-bed specialty care teaching hospital and the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin.

This 38-bed Telemetry Monitored Nursing Unit Provides The Opportunity To Work With a Wide Variety Of Patients. As a Neuro PCU RN, No Two Days Are Alike. Staff On This Unit Practice Within The Team Nursing Model And Consider Teamwork Our Greatest Strength In Providing Safe, Quality, And Compassionate Patient Care. This Unit Includes

• 4 Bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit
• Award winning Comprehensive Stroke Center certified through Joint Commission

The conditions that are primarily of service for our Neuro PCU includes:

• Hemicraniectomy
• Aneurysm Clip and Coils
• Glioblastomas
• Carotid Endarterectomy
• TIA
• Stroke – Hemorrhagic and Ischemic
• Neurosurgery
• Seizures
• Brain Mass

Requirements Of The Ideal Candidate
