Cynet Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neuro PCU in a 13‑week travel assignment. The role requires neuro stepdown experience and an Indiana (or compact) RN license, with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Shifts are nights, with a 12‑hour schedule and patient ratios of 3–4:1 on progressive care and 4–5:1 on Medical‑Surgical units. The nurse will float to like units as needed, participate in required training, and travel may be involved for unit coverage.

Qualifications

• Neuro stepdown nursing experience required.

• 2 years PCU or Stepdown experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for neuro stepdown and progressive care patients.
• Float to Medical‑Surgical or Telemetry units when needed.
• Maintain nurse‑to‑patient ratios of 3–4:1 on progressive care and 4–5:1 on MSU.
• Night shifts; 13-week assignment with weekend shifts in a 4‑week cycle.
• Travelers must complete unit training and participate in required sessions.

Description:This position requires a nurse with experience in neuro stepdown and progressive care.The nurse will be responsible for the care of neuro stepdown and progressive patients.Drip titration experience is preferred.If not experienced in drip titration, the nurse will float to Medical-Surgical or Telemetry units.Equipment used in the unit includes EPIC, PYXIS, Philips defibrillator, and Philips bedside monitors.The nurse-to-patient ratio will be 3-4:1 on progressive care and 4-5:1 on Medical-Surgical units.Three weekend shifts are required within a 4-week schedule.Nurses will never work alone, ensuring adequate support.Travelers must complete specific unit training and participate in required training sessions.Floating to other units may occur when necessary, maintaining appropriate patient ratios.
