Job summary

Mass General Brigham in Boston is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the Neurosciences ICU. BSN preferred; experience with neuro patients or general acute care with interest in neuroscience will be considered.

You will work on a 22-bed unit with a medical team in a fast-paced environment, providing bedside care, medication administration, and coordination of care. The unit supports research and bedside CT imaging, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • MA State RN license required.
  • Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required.
  • Familiarity with nursing principles and patient care procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Job Summary

We are currently seeking a full time RN for the Neurosciences ICU at MGH. If you have experience working with neuro patients, this could be an opportunity for you. BSN Preferred Neuro and critical care experience are preferred, but candidates with experience in general acute care and demonstrating a strong interest in the neuroscience specialty will also be considered.

Position Highlights
  • You will be caring for critically ill patients who have a variety of neurological diagnoses including stroke, brain hemorrhage, brain or back surgery, heal trauma or spinal cord injury

  • Patients may require life support systems, including mechanical ventilation for unstable respiratory status and/or medication via continuous infusion to maintain cardiovascular status.

  • Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients.
