Job summary

Massachusetts General Hospital seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Neurosciences unit, a 32-bed adult inpatient area. You will care for patients with neuro medicine, neurosurgical, and neuro-oncology needs and participate in epilepsy monitoring activities.

You will work with a dedicated team focused on patient-centered care and evidence-based practice. The role emphasizes accurate documentation, medication administration, vital signs, and collaboration with the care team to evaluate

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• MA State RN license required.
• 0–1 year of clinical nursing experience required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to screen and triage acute patients.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, detailed reports, and records.
• Administer medications to patients and monitor patients for reactions or side effects.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
