Virtus Healthcare Staffing seeks a dedicated RN - Neuro Epilepsy to join our partner, a leading Level I Trauma Center in Seattle, WA. This is an exceptional opportunity for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to provide specialized care to patients with epilepsy and other neurological conditions.

Provide Expert Care in a Specialized Neuro Epilepsy Unit
As a Neuro Epilepsy RN, you will deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with epilepsy and related neurological disorders. You will play a crucial role in monitoring patients, administering medications, educating patients and their families, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with epilepsy and other neurological conditions.

Monitor patients for seizure activity, documenting frequency, duration, and characteristics.

Administer anti-epileptic medications and other prescribed treatments.

Perform neurological assessments and monitor patients' responses to interventions.

Provide pre- and post-procedure care for patients undergoing diagnostic tests and treatments.

Educate patients and families about epilepsy, seizure management, and medication adherence.

Collaborate with physicians, neurologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.

Respond to emergencies and initiate appropriate interventions.

Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.

Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities.

Provide compassionate and patient-centered care.

Required Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited nursing program.

Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.

National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course within 90 days of hire.

1 year of Nursing experience.

Full-Time, Night Shift.

12 Hour Shift.

$10,000 Sign-On Bonus and Relocation Assistance for eligible rehires and external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.
