Position: RN/ MS/Tele/Neuro
Location: Tele is required
Requirements: Must be proficient in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. There will be a test.
Holiday RTO Restrictions: Travelers can have 1 of 3 major holidays, and 3 additional non-holiday RTO days (not blocked) during specific weeks.
Start date: 10/7
Duration: 15 weeks
Ratios: 1:5
Experience: Must have 2 years of experience. Strong neuro experience for first-time travelers is considered.
First-timers accepted: Yes, if they have strong neuro experience
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend, flexible scheduling required
Certifications required: NIH, BLS

Floating within scope: Yes, travelers are first to float

Guaranteed hours: Facility can call off 1 shift per 2-week pay period
Special requirements: IV start, telemetry, care for tracheostomy, preferred level 1 trauma
Patient population: Neurosurgery, Neurology, Epilepsy, Traumatic brain injury, Craniotomy, Aneurysm procedures, Spinal cord injury, Strokes, Seizures, Change in mental status, Telemetry
Hospital highlights: Magnet / Teaching / Level 1 Trauma, 500 beds, Epic charting
Shift: Night 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:30)
Pay details: Overtime multiplier 1.2%, no double time, call back 1.2%, holiday 1.2%
Holidays observed: New Year's, Labor Day, Independence Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Juneteenth
Additional notes: Holiday hours do not count toward weekly OT. Pay adjustments for daylight savings time are at UW Medicine’s discretion.
