Qualifications

  • State licensure required (NM or Compact).
  • BLS certification required at time of hire.
  • Experience in NICU or neonatal care preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to premature and critically ill neonates, monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
  • Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists and lactation consultants to implement care plans.
  • Provide parental education and emotional support as part of family-centered care.
  • Maintain infection control and ensure NICU safety and equipment readiness.
