Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to oversee patient care for medical and surgical conditions in a fast-paced hospital setting in Texas.

The RN will assess, plan, guide, and evaluate nursing care, provide professional leadership, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate will hold a Texas RN license (BSN preferred), with BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1 year of acute care experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of acute care experience preferred.
• Demonstrates commitment to Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.
• Texas RN license (or compact). BSN preferred.
• Must maintain BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patients admitted or seen for medical/surgical conditions.
• Provide professional leadership and support to nursing staff.
• Assess, plan, guide, and evaluate nursing care per policies and standards.
• Coordinate with hospital staff and departments to resolve patient care issues.
• May require weekends, evenings, nights, or on-call status to maintain service excellence.
