Description:The registered nurse will primarily work on the Respiratory unit.This unit admits patients with respiratory conditions.The nurse may occasionally float between various Med-Surg units.These units include Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and others.The position requires 36 hours of work per week.The night shift runs from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend required.There is no call requirement for this position.Candidates must be able to read telemetry, as they will be tested on this skill on day one.Those who do not pass the competency test may be terminated.Candidates must also be proficient in Epic EMR.If proficiency is found lacking after assessment, termination may result.All requested time off must be disclosed during the submission process.This information is crucial for proper scheduling.The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours during the contract.Cancellations may apply to non-12 hour shifts.Candidates should be aware of these terms upon application.
