Job summary

SoftPath Medical is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shift in Canton, Ohio. You’ll work three 12-hour nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, providing care in Med/Surg Telemetry with Epic EHR systems. Applicants must have 18+ months in Med/Surg Telemetry, an Ohio (or compact) license, BLS/ACLS, and NIH certification before start. Travel may be required during holidays.

Orientation includes ECG rhythm recognition testing and SafeMedicate assessment; passing scores are required.

Qualifications

• 18+ months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Minimum 18 months combined permanent experience in relevant specialty.
• Permanent Ohio nursing license or compact state license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• NIH certification must be obtained before starting.
• Passing ECG rhythm recognition test during orientation.
• Passing SafeMedicate assessment during orientation.
• Travel available to work at least every other holiday.

Shift Details

Night shift consisting of three 12-hour shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Experience and Licensing Requirements

• At least 18 months of recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry
• A minimum of 18 months combined permanent experience in the relevant specialty is required
• Must hold a permanent Ohio nursing license or a compact state license

Certifications

• Current AHA or equivalent BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• NIH certification must be obtained before starting

Technical Skills

Proficiency with the Epic electronic health record system is mandatory

References

Submission requires one recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director within the specialty applied for

Orientation Assessments

Candidates will complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and a safeMedicate assessment during orientation; passing scores on both are mandatory

Additional Requirements

Travelers must be available to work at least every other holiday
