Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an RN for the MS Tele unit in Madison, WI. This 13-week travel assignment features 12-hour day shifts (07:00–19:30) on a 28-bed medical-surgical unit. On-site work with a fast pace and potential weekend/holiday rotations.

Required: Wisconsin RN (or compact) license, BLS from AHA, and telemetry testing prior to start. Telemetry expertise and Epic experience are highly valued.

Description:Day and evening, 12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:30.Weekend and holiday rotations based on operational needs.Epic experience is required.Traveler must have two years of acute care experience within the last three years.BLS certification is required from AHA only.Traveler will be required to pass a telemetry test before starting.The unit is a fast-paced, 28-bed medical-surgical unit that offers rewarding nursing opportunities.Responsibilities include providing high-quality, patient-centered care.Work in a collaborative environment surrounded by state-of-the-art technology.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and lead practice changes.Collaborate in the development and evaluation of the multidisciplinary plan of care.Patient diagnoses include COPD, heart failure, hypertension, diabetes, and various surgical procedures.Special procedures include wound care and management of various lines and drips.Interdisciplinary support includes multiple specialized teams to assist in patient care.Travelers may be required to float to other units as needed.Minimum experience required is two years of acute care within the specialty.Pass/fail testing is required with strict passing criteria for the telemetry exam.The traveler will have two attempts to pass the telemetry test.Completion of a cardiac interpretation review course is required if the second attempt fails.Failure after the third attempt will result in assignment cancellation.
