Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff seeks an experienced RN for MS Tele in Spokane, WA. This 13-week assignment requires a Neuro/Neuro Telemetry nurse with at least 1 year of Neuro nursing and a valid Compact RN license.

Responsibilities include caring for post-surgical neurology patients, telemetry management, and floating between units with a 1:4 patient ratio. Epic charting and holiday shifts may be required, with weekends every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Neuro nursing experience.
• Proficiency with NIHSS.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Description:This position requires a registered nurse to provide care in a Neuro Telemetry setting.The nurse will float between units as needed.Weekends are required every other weekend.The expected patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4.Candidates must have experience in management of dysrhythmias and pre/post-neurosurgical care.Familiarity with charting in Epic is mandatory.The unit serves adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.Daily patient census is approximately 48.The facility is designated as a stroke unit and is thrombectomy capable.Interdisciplinary support is provided by various teams, including physical therapy and pharmacy.The nurse must be proficient in telemetry and the management of spinal cord injuries and traumatic brain injuries.This role may require participation in holiday shifts.References covering the last year are required for the compliance process prior to the start.Travelers may be expected to float to nearby facilities if necessary.Clear communication devices will be provided as needed to perform job duties.
