Description:This position is for a 13-week contract.Extension will not be approved.Only local candidates will be accepted and must live within 75 miles of the facility.The registered nurse will manage all MS/Tele and observation patients.Ratios can fluctuate with census and call in.Orientation is bi-weekly.Travelers may only submit to one position at a time.Candidates must be willing to accept an 84-hour schedule over two weeks, with one week consisting of three 12-hour shifts and the next week consisting of four 12-hour shifts.Travelers who cannot accept this schedule will be cancelled.References are required, one from a charge nurse or higher and one from a supervisor.Both references must be completed within the last year.A copy of certifications is required for submission.Candidates must have experience with managing patients in a telemetry environment.Recent experience in MS/Tele is a prerequisite.Responsibilities include accessing and managing ports, blood product administration, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and telemetry monitoring among others.The nursing role involves working with adults and geriatric patient populations and may include special procedures within the telemetry setting.Candidates should be knowledgeable in the required skills for this specialty.Potential candidates who do not meet the experience criteria will not be considered.
