Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff seeks an experienced RN for a 13-week MS Tele unit assignment. This night-shift position involves 12-hour shifts on a 36-bed unit, with floating to multiple acute care areas including telemetry and general med-surg.

A minimum of 1 year RN Med-Surg experience is required, with telemetry exposure and a valid RN license plus BLS. Weekend shifts are scheduled in a rotating pattern to cover the unit’s needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in medical-surgical units.
• Telemetry monitoring experience preferred.
• Valid RN license and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a general med-surgical unit.
• Float to medical-surgical, telemetry, and other acute areas.
• Manage non-titratable drips and perform general med-surg procedures.
• Nurse-to-patient ratios range from 1:4 to 1:6.

Description:This position involves providing nursing care in a general medical-surgical unit.

The unit has a total of 36 beds with a mix of registered nurses and patient care technicians.

Nurse-to-patient ratios range from 1:4 to 1:6.

The role includes managing non-titratable drips and performing general med-surg procedures.

Floating to all acute care areas such as medical-surgical, general surgery, renal transplant, telemetry, neurology, and orthopedics is expected.

Royal blue scrubs are required for this position.

Weekends will be required, with four weekend shifts scheduled over a four-week period.
