Description:RTO after booking is not allowed.Any call-offs or additional RTO on unit could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.Unit will accept first-time travelers.Locals accepted with a rate difference.Ratios on the unit are 5:1, but can run 1 over grid to 6:1.36 hours can be offered.Unit will accept contracts of 13 weeks or more.Candidate must work 3 weekends in total of 6 weekend shifts every 6 weeks, including Saturdays and Sundays.Floating may be required as needed within the service line.Patient population includes pulmonary, general medical, longer length of stay patients, trach patients, COPD, and asthma.Special procedures for pulmonary patients include trach care, chest tubes, and administer oxygen via bipap/cpap.This unit does not manage ventilator patients.Daily census in the unit is 24 patients.Interdisciplinary support is available from multiple departments.Module completion may be required pre-start and annually.Candidates must be open to floating within or near the facility as needed.All RTO must be pre-approved and cannot be requested after signing.Candidates must be prepared to manage specific patient diagnoses and procedures.
