Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in telemetry for a 13-week assignment in Brownsville, TX. The unit has 24 beds and is staffed by a mix of full-time and part-time personnel. Night shift with 12-hour shifts, patient ratio of 7:1, and ample opportunities to use Meditech EMR.

Description:We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in telemetry.The unit has a total of 24 beds and is staffed by a combination of full-time and part-time personnel.The patient ratio is 7 patients to 1 nurse.Key equipment includes Hoyer lifts, bladder scanners, ultrasound-guided machines, glucometers, and more.Electronic Medical Records are managed using Meditech.Candidates must possess IV skills, wound care experience, and neuro assessment capabilities.Preferred qualifications include charge nurse or resource nurse experience.Common procedures performed in this unit include cerebral angiogram, left heart catheterization, peg tube placement, endoscopy/colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, central line insertion, and laparoscopic cholecystectomy.Ideal candidates will be driven, motivated, encouraging, family-oriented, and friendly.Weekend work and on-call duties are required as needed.
