Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an RN in Medical Surgical/Orthopedic for a 13-week night assignment in Morgantown, WV. The unit uses EPIC for charting and maintains a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6. This role requires a valid RN license and BLS certification, plus strong orthopedic and total joint replacement experience.

Travelers may need to rotate every other weekend and holiday shifts. 12-hour nights from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Minimum 2 years of RN experience required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in medical surgical/orthopedic units.
• BLS certification required and maintained.
• EPIC charting experience preferred.

Description:The position involves working in a medical surgical/orthopedic unit.The unit care setting includes acute care for orthopedic patients.Common diagnoses include joints, replacements, and fractures.The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5-6.There will be 3 CNA’s per shift with a nurse-to-CNA ratio of 1:7-8.Nursing staff is expected to work into a holiday rotation.Travelers are required to work every other weekend or two weekend shifts within the schedule.There may be a possibility to float to other specified units.The charting system used is EPIC.All candidates must have current BLS certification.Nurses are not required to read telemetry strips.Charge nurse supervision is available 24/7.
