Description:The registered nurse will provide care for patients who have undergone bone and joint reconstructive surgery, joint replacement, or orthopedic trauma surgery.This unit also serves as a med/surg overflow area.Patients will be ages 18 and older.The patient-to-nurse ratio is typically 1:4, but may occasionally flex to 1:5.The nursing model is team-based.Clinicians may be floated within their scope to meet facility needs.Weekend work will be required every other weekend.Candidates must have experience with cardiac medications and telemetry monitoring.Flu vaccination is required unless medically exempt.COVID-19 vaccination is not required.Candidates must provide references from previous supervisors or charge nurses within the last 2 years.All necessary documentation must be submitted prior to the starting date.This position involves working night shifts.
