Description:We are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Med Surg unit.The unit consists of both orthopedic and medical surgical beds.Patient ratios are typically 6:1.The unit is staffed with Patient Care Technicians and Unit Secretaries during day shifts.We use a Meditech documentation system for managing patient records.Schedules are organized in monthly increments.Full-time employees are required to work four weekend shifts per month.Floating to inpatient units may be necessary to assist with patient care.All applicants are encouraged to bring a positive attitude and commitment to teamwork.Advanced nursing skills, such as the ability to assist during bedside procedures, are valued.Required attire includes scrub tops and bottoms without fleece or denim.Long sleeve shirts under scrub tops are permitted, as are scrub jackets.We seek candidates who are dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
