Job summary

Advocate Health in Georgia is seeking a registered nurse for the Mother/Baby unit on a full-time basis. The position offers a 36-hour work week with a pay range of $38.20–$57.30 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

The RN will apply the nursing process, monitor patient conditions, document care in the EHR, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes. BSN-preferred candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN provides client nursing services
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required based on specialty.
• Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Monitors patient conditions and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to clinical protocols.
