Job summary

Atrium Health Family Birth Center is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide compassionate, evidence-based care in a high-acuity perinatal setting in Georgia. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to monitor mothers and babies, implement care plans, and ensure safety and quality in every patient interaction.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, communication, and time-management skills, with a BSN preferred and current RN licensure.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in state where practice occurs and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 1 year of clinical nursing experience typically required.
• Graduate from a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils and quality initiatives.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and adjusts care plans with the care team.
• Promotes a culture of safety and effective communication.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
