Advocate Health in Navicent Health Medical Center, Macon, GA, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Mother/Baby Unit. This full-time role supports postpartum and newborn care, delivering high-quality, family-centered nursing in a regional perinatal center.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds a culture of safety and ensures accurate EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies per clinical protocols.
• Demonstrates effective communication and delegation within the team.
• Pursues ongoing professional development and maintains required certifications.
• Complies with ANA Code of Ethics and delivers ethical, patient-centered care.
