Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health’s Beverly Hospital seeks an experienced RN for the Mother Baby and Special Care Nursery. You’ll provide comprehensive care from admission to discharge, addressing physical, developmental, emotional, and family needs.

Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team ensures optimal maternal/newborn outcomes. You will guide families, support breastfeeding and education, and coordinate with physicians to tailor care plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• BLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification required.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments and essential care on both Mother and Newborn, administration of medications/treatments.
• Observation of patient progress and alignment of therapies with standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with physicians and other professionals to develop an optimal health plan.
• Provide education to patients and families and coordinate discharge resources.
