Job summary

DeTar Healthcare System is seeking a part-time RN/LVN to provide patient-centered nursing care in its Victoria, Texas facilities. The RN will coordinate and deliver high-quality care following established protocols and physician orders.

Responsibilities include assessments, medication administration, collaboration with the care team, and patient education. Commitment to safety, infection control, and continuous improvement is expected.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care in accordance with policies and nursing process.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and reports changes to the care team.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within competency and scope.
• Documents care and education thoroughly in the medical record.
