ARMStaffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Swing Bed Unit on a 13-week contract in Tyrone, PA. You will manage care for patients requiring in-house rehabilitation and long-term IV therapy during night shifts.

The role requires an active PA RN license (or compact), ACLS/BLS/NIHSS/PALS, and prior LTAC/telemetry experience, with charge experience preferred. Cerner charting is a plus, and travel reimbursement is provided.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Swing Bed Unit. The ideal candidate will provide nursing care to swing bed patients who require in-house rehabilitation and long-term IV therapy.

Responsibilities

• Care for swing bed patients requiring rehabilitation and long-term IV therapy.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs, manage medications, and administer treatments.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Utilize advanced skills such as managing ports, blood product administration, and more.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Pennsylvania or compact RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in an LTAC or telemetry setting.
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required.
• Charge experience is preferred.
• Experience with Cerner charting system is advantageous.
• Experience in patient management (CVA, renal failure, wound care, etc.) is preferred.
