ARMStaffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical for a 13-week contract in Littleton, New Hampshire. The role requires 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with every other weekend and holiday availability expected.

Job Description

This role involves providing patient care in a 27-bed medical-surgical unit of a critical access hospital. The unit handles psych holds, end-of-life care, post-operative patients from PLIF surgeries, GI surgeries, total joints, as well as SNF patients and those requiring physical rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Delivering high-quality patient care on the medical-surgical unit.
• Managing patient connections and emotional support for patients and families.
• Administering medications and performing various medical procedures.
• Documenting patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high standards of care.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of current medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Previous travel nursing experience is highly preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Active American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Active American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Current New Hampshire RN license or compact license.
